My mission is to help businesses to solve strategic and operational problems by creating, designing and implementing innovative ideas.

I also want to help others to be more creative in order to solve their personal and professional challenges.

I was born in a small city in the south of Portugal. During my senior year of high school, I participated in the Company Programme of Junior Achievement, therefore leading a six-person team to start a real business. After six months of work, despite we had built prototypes and a lot of people interested in our product, the team was split geographically – in five cities – and even ideologically, so the project ended. Nevertheless, it fulfilled its purpose – the knowledge I learned and the people I met during that time were inestimable.

I am finishing my Bachelor degree in Business Administration at Nova School of Business and Economics, where, in the last three years, I had the chance to participate in several consultancy projects, business games, student clubs and volunteering opportunities.

I have worked with several companies (Unibanco, Shark Tank Portugal, Algramo, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, etc.), NGO (Poder da Poupança, Mentes Empreendedoras, Prémio Infante Dom Henrique, McKinsey’s Manuel Violante Foundation, CDI Portugal, Beta-i, etc.) and other organizations (Lisbon City Hall, Summer at Nova programme, etc.).

I have also completed a two-month internship in the Asset and Insurance Risk Management department of LeasePlan Portugal, a multinational company leader in automobile leasing. While I was there, I created pricing models and analyzed data for specific business units.

My main areas of interest are Innovation, Strategy and Operations. When doing my work, what motivates me is being able to focus on efficiency and creativity, while being proactive and autonomous. Please visit my LinkedIn profile for further information.

I’ll be glad to help you with your endeavors, so please drop me a line (me@luispascoal.com).
